Pros
There are many positives with the Lifetime 51550 Courtside Portable Basketball System. It allows my kids to adjust the height with ease. It was pretty simple to put together with the instructions. The 6” adjustments are real nice for us because we can set it at a height that’s just right. The clear backboard looks like a real backboard. It holds up well in heavy winds. Moving the 51550 basketball hoop around is real simple even full of water in the base. The 51550 basketball hoop moves between the front and back yard almost effortlessly. It is durable and adjustable.
It has a lift system that makes for effortless adjustments up and down. The wheels make moving the rim around real easy.
Cons
A negative that we thought of in the beginning, that has turned out to be ok the more we use it is, with an aggressive dunk the whole unit tilts forward. By tilting forward it protects the unit form receiving permanent damage from hanging on the rim. The only drawback has to be repositioning the rim after the dunk.
